Not a morning person? Not a problem. You’ll be quick to rise when you get a taste of this delicious breakfast smoothie bowl of champions. The Spirulina Sunrise Smoothie Bowl knows nothing of mediocrity. It puts pep in your step and the wind at your back, but don’t take our word for it, try it for yourself.
What do you get out of it, you ask? Well, this little morning delight will load you up with protein, fiber, potassium, manganese, B & C vitamins, calcium, iron, over 20 amino acids, and other antioxidants, just to name a few. It might taste like a tropical getaway, but the effects will have you feeling more like Popeye opening up a can of whoop ass.
We don’t mean to brag but, our spirulina alone could give you all you need for a winning breakfast boost. Combine that with our adaptogenic maca powder and you’ve got yourself the energy, stamina and fighting fuel to take on the day.
What you’ll need:
- ½ medium banana (a frozen banana makes it even better!)
- ½ an avocado
- ¼ cup frozen mango
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 packet of Yourlixir Spirulina Powder
- 1 packet of Yourlixir Maca Powder
- A couple ice cubes *optional
- Shredded coconut *optional
- Blend all ingredients in your blender for 30 seconds
- Pour and serve
*Extra points for sprinkling coconut shreds or goji berries on top :)
